Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes Formation of students' necessary competencies: general: - ability to intellectual integrity and fulfill the ethical obligations necessary for quality scientific research and publication, guided by ethical and moral norms - ability to support others, help through teaching, mentoring, demonstrating a significant range of leadership skills, methods, tools, practices that are relevant to the field of training and practice - the ability to identify and meet their own needs for the harmonious development of a holistic personality and scientific development, self-development, self-improvement throughout life, self-realization professional: - ability to initiate and manage the processes of planned social changes in meso- and microsocial systems and apply a comprehensive approach to the provision of social services taking into account the needs of health care - ability to navigate in the features of international experience of practical social work, to use this knowledge in the theoretical substantiation and practical introduction of innovative foreign practices in domestic social work

Summary of the subject: Approaches to the definition of "social development" and "social policy". The level of human potential of society. Elevation and impoverishment of needs. Social justice as a universal social regulatory value. Social development of society as a progressive trend. Strategic directions of social development of society. The essence and basic features of the welfare state. The role of social policy in the formation of the welfare state Origins of supervision. The influence of humanistic theories on development / change of the concept of supervision. Ethical principles of supervision. Supervision in the structural context of the organization and society. Administrative supervision. Supervisor as an organizational leader. Power and delegation of authority. Developing approach to training supervisors. Theory of adult learning. Applying the strengths approach in supervisory relations. Supportive supervision. Supervision as a technology for overcoming psychological pressure at work. Group supervision: group and its impact on the employee, classification of small groups, group dynamics. Skills of a consultant and advisor.
Assessment methods and criteria: current control - performance and protection of individual tasks, test control, frontal survey (40%) • final control - control measure (exam) written examination (50%) and oral examination on the issues of examination ticket (10%)
