Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: master: - gaining skills in designing flat and spatial wooden structures of buildings and structures; - understanding the basics of calculation and design of flat and spatial wooden structures of buildings and structures, as well as their components; - understanding the basics of calculation of wooden structures of buildings and structures for fire resistance .; be able: ? perform calculation of planar wooden structures of buildings and structures; ? perform the calculation of spatial wooden structures of buildings and structures; As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PRN 6. Deepening knowledge in the specialization of industrial and civil construction, design of metal structures, design of reinforced concrete and stone structures, design of foundations and foundations, design of wooden structures, design in seismic areas, development of technologies for construction of buildings and structures; PRN 8. Knowledge and understanding of methodologies for design and modernization of facilities in the specialization of PCB in accordance with regulatory requirements of applicable standards and specifications

Summary of the subject: Requirements for wooden and plastic structures. Rational use of wood and plastic structures. Design and calculation of arches of triangular and curvilinear outlines (circular, parabolic). Design and calculation of trusses triangular, with parallel belts, segmental, polygonal. Design and calculation of frames: from rectilinear elements, bent-glued, lattice. Thin-walled roof structures of single-storey buildings and structures Circular arch as the original form of circular-mesh vaults. Mesh domes. Constructive schemes and principles of calculation. Folds: design and calculation. Basics of operation of wooden structures.
Assessment methods and criteria: oral examination, course project (30%) final control: written and oral form (70%)

Make drawings of the calculated structures.
