Learning outcomes: General competences: 1. The ability to solve problems of a research/or innovative nature in the field of construction and civil engineering. 2. Ability to integrate knowledge from other fields and specialized conceptual knowledge in construction and civil engineering, combined with compliance with applicable regulations, to solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts. 4. Ability to develop and implement projects in the field of construction and civil engineering. Learning outcomes: 1. Design buildings and structures (according to specialization), including using computer design tools. 2. To carry out technical examination of projects of construction and civil engineering objects (in accordance with specialization), monitoring the compliance of projects and technical documentation with design tasks, technical conditions and other applicable regulatory and legal documents in the field of architecture and construction. 3. Develop measures for labor and environmental protection during research and production activities. 4. Select modern materials, technologies and methods of construction work, taking into account the architectural and planning, constructive part of the project and the production base of the construction organization. 5. Specialized conceptual knowledge, which includes modern scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or field of knowledge and is the basis for original thinking and conducting research 6. Bodies of multistory buildings. Covering buildings of large spans. Basics of designing metal structures according to Eurocode
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral examination, reference work (30%) • final control (70% control measure, exam), written-oral form

Ability to make informed decisions. 3. The ability to use specialized computer programs when solving complex engineering problems in the field of construction and civil engineering. Learning outcomes: 1. Design common industrial and civil buildings and structures, including using computer design software systems. 2. Make effective design and technical decisions, taking into account the features of the construction object, aspects of social and ethical responsibility, technical and economic justification, determination of the optimal mode of its functioning and implementation of resource and energy saving measures. 3. Apply modern mathematical and numerical methods for analysis, calculation and optimization of design parameters of industrial and civil buildings and structures. 4. Ability to integrate knowledge and solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts
