Learning outcomes: • Knowledge of the main trends and the most important solutions and latest technologies in the mining industry. • Knowledge and understanding of the technical processes, methods of analysis and synthesis of electromechanical systems of excavators, drilling and oil extraction units. • Ability to apply fundamental knowledge and skills for the servicing and modernization of electromechanical systems of excavators, drilling and oil extraction units. • Ability to analyse major functioning indicators of automated electric drives in the mining industry and estimate the adopted technical solutions.
