Learning outcomes: the ability to apply information and communication technologies and programming skills for typical engineering tasks; - the ability to apply professionally-profiled knowledge and practical skills to create new and maintain existing electrical, electrical and electromechanical systems and their components; - the ability to apply analytical methods of analysis, mathematical modeling and conduct physical and mathematical experiments for engineering tasks solution and scientific research; - the ability to analyze critically the main indicators of the system functioning and to evaluate the technical solutions and equipment in use; - the ability to integrate knowledge from other disciplines, apply a systematic approach and take non-technical aspects into account in solving engineering problems and carrying out the research.
Required prior and related subjects: • further mathematics, • physics; • mathematical modeling in the electric power engineering; • mathematical problems of electric power engineering; • programming and software for engineering calculations.
Summary of the subject: Within the scope of the discipline the scientific and bases and merhods of the scientific researchers providing are discussed. From practical point of view the questions of dynamic systems macromodeling, principles, methods and algorithms of creation of continuous and discrete macromodels of complex dynamic electromechanical and electric power systems, development and use of software on their basis are considered. The discipline takes into account the peculiarities of training of masters of all specializations, which meet the requirements of the specialty "Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics".
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control - Preparing, execution and discussion of laboratory tasks (40 %) Final control is carried out during the session in writing and in oral form (60 %)
