Learning outcomes: • Knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts, theories and methods necessary for solving problems in electrical power, electrotechnical, electromechanical systems and their electrical equipment; • the ability to apply professionally-profiled knowledge and practical skills to create new and serviceable existing power, electrotechnical and electromechanical systems and their components; • the ability to integrate knowledge from other disciplines, apply a systems approach, and take into account non-technical aspects when solving engineering problems and conducting research; • the ability to evaluate the feasibility and feasibility of applying new methods and technologies to the problems of synthesis of power, electrical and electromechanical systems.

Summary of the subject: Organization of research works in Ukraine. The results of the research activities are intellectual property. Content and sequence of registration of documents on a trademark. Structure and features of registration of documents for the patent (device), patent (method) and (method and device for its implementation). Features of license for intellectual product. Preparation of scientific material, structure and main sections of articles, abstracts, speeches at conferences (seminars, symposia). Structure and main sections of the master's and scientific dissertation, abstract. Bibliographic review during the design of the research results
Assessment methods and criteria: • written practice report, oral interview (40%); • final control - differentiated credit: protection of the report orally (60%).
