Summary of the subject: The main stages of development and the current state of the science of heat engineering, the development of energy and its prospects. Perfect gas. The concept of warmth and work. Reversible and irreversible processes. The second law of thermodynamics. Workflow of the piston compressor.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, reports on practical work, oral questioning (30%) • final control (control measure - exam): written and oral form (70%)
