Summary of the subject: The principle of the classification of steam turbines and nuclear power plants. Thermal circuit and steam cycles nuclear installations. Regenerative feedwater heater. Intermediate superheat steam at nuclear power plants. The basic equations of the theory of steam turbines. The process of energy conversion in the turbine stages. Triangles speeds. Efforts acting on the rotor blades. Power degree. The specific work steam. Additional energy losses in a single-stage steam turbines, process I-S on their account. Internal relative efficiency degree. The power efficiency of the turbine and nuclear power plants.
