Department: Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies
Lecturer: Associate Professor, Ph.D., Brylynskyy R.B.
Semester: 1 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: - knowledge and understanding of scientific and mathematical principles necessary for solving engineering problems and using research in the field of thermal energy; - knowledge and understanding of the impact of technical solutions in the public, economic, social and environmental context. - professionally profiled knowledge for the synthesis, design and adjustment of thermal energy systems, taking into account the features of the objects; - mastery of the principles and methods of optimization of control systems and their elements; - knowledge of special methods and means of control, measurement of technological parameters for thermal processes; - choose methods and model phenomena and processes in dynamic systems, as well as analyze the obtained results; - apply a systematic approach, integrating knowledge from other disciplines and taking into account non-technical aspects, when solving engineering problems and conducting research in the chosen specialty.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous academic disciplines: Boiler installations of heat energy facilities Modes of operation of thermal power facilities Basics of automation and automation of energy facilities Associated and following academic disciplines: Combined power plants of thermal energy facilities Designing of thermal power plant facilities Designing of heat energy facilities
Summary of the subject: "Automated control systems of thermal power plants" is one of the important disciplines of the specialty "Heat power engineering" for master's training to ensure efficient and reliable operation of thermal power plants, in particular at thermal power plants and TPPs. This subject enables master's students to learn basic theoretical and practical skills in the analysis, design and operation of systems of automatic measurement, control, regulation, signaling, protection and blocking of the main technological parameters of drum and direct-flow steam generators and their auxiliary equipment.
Assessment methods and criteria: During the teaching of this discipline, the following methods of knowledge diagnosis are used: - oral and face-to-face survey of students during lectures and laboratory sessions; - at the final lectures of each section of the course, current control is carried out in the form of a test of students' knowledge of the material covered in the section. - verification of written works (protection of reports for laboratory works); - oral and written component of the exam.
