Summary of the subject: ABSTRACT OF THE COURSE
The discipline of Physics forms in students a scientific physical worldview, reveals physical concepts, laws, theories and promotes the development of skills to apply them in practice. Physics studies the properties of the material world, the structure and properties of matter, the laws of interaction and motion of material bodies.
The physics course consists of 30 lectures (15 lectures in the first and second semesters), and 30 laboratory classes (15 laboratory classes in the first and second semesters). The lecture course covers six sections, which set out: physical foundations of mechanics, basics of molecular physics and thermodynamics, electrostatics and direct current (semester I), electromagnetism, wave optics, elements of quantum mechanics, nuclear physics and solid state physics (semester II). Laboratory work in the first semester is performed in mechanical-molecular and electrical laboratories, and in the second and second - in electrical and optical laboratories. Students after 8 lectures in each semester perform tasks to test independent work. In the first and second semesters students perform 1 calculation work. At the end of each semester, students take a physics exam.
