Major: Micro and Nanosystem Technology
Code of subject: 6.153.03.E.90
Credits: 5.00
Department: Semiconductor Electronics
Lecturer: Stepan Nichkalo
Semester: 7 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Learning outcomes: 1) knowledge of the basic principles of construction of linear and nonlinear analog and analog-digital devices, their calculation and practical application in modern electronics; 2) the ability to calculate specific schemes of analog nodes and build their models; determine the static and dynamic parameters of these schemes; 3) the ability to design on the basis of individual analog nodes multifunctional electronic systems for various purposes; 4) ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills in conducting experiments, data collection and modeling of devices and devices of micro- and nanosystem technology.
Required prior and related subjects: Origin of Electronic Circuits; Solid-State Electronics; Electronic Systems; Microelectronic Devices for Information Technologies; Microprocessors; Microelectronic Circuit Design (digital).
Summary of the subject: The course consists of 30 lectures and 7 laboratory works. The lecture course covers 8 sections, which set out the basics and trends in modern analog circuit design; the structure, principle of operation of operational amplifiers, analog-to-digital converters are considered, and also the basic circuit designs which provide the maximum output characteristics and parameters of micro- and nanosystem devices are analyzed. Laboratory classes are performed using laboratory training boards and/or software at the Department of Semiconductor Electronics. At the end of the semester, students take an exam. The course involves coursework which the student performs according to the individual task.
Assessment methods and criteria: The control student learning outcomes the following methods are used: oral questioning in the defense of laboratory works (10 points); writing tests (30 points); oral and written components of the exam (60 points).
