Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline and the results of the study are to ensure the intellectual and social development of the individual and to acquaint students with the basics of legal and economic aspects of intellectual property.
Завдання: general competences: ZK1. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis, synthesis. ZK5. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. ZK8. Ability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups at different levels (with experts from other fields of knowledge). Professional competences: FC2. Ability to plan and implement innovative projects in the field of electronics, protect intellectual property rights. FK4. Ability to use information, computer and multimedia technologies, methods of modeling, intellectualization, artificial intelligence, experimental methods for research and analysis of processes in electronic components, devices and systems. FC6. The ability to find the necessary information using modern information resources.
Learning outcomes: GLO 7. Carry out informational and scientific research using scientific, technical and reference literature, databases and knowledge, other sources of information; critically interpret and interpret available knowledge and data, form directions of research and development taking into account domestic and foreign experience. GLO 11. Analyze technical and economic indicators, reliability, ergonomics, patent purity, market needs, investment climate and compliance of project solutions, scientific and research and development developments with the defined goals and norms of the legislation of Ukraine. COM 2. The ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. А&R 2. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge. А&R 3. The ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics.

Summary of the subject: The program of the study discipline "Intellectual property" is concluded for students of the Institute of Telecommunications, Radio Electronics and Electronic Engineering who are studying Electronics. The educational discipline is devoted to the study of the creation, legal protection, commercialization and protection of rights to intellectual property objects with the aim of using them to increase the competitiveness of goods and services, as well as to avoid infringement of the intellectual property rights of both the owners themselves and competing firms.
Опис: Intellectual property as the right to the results of a person's creative activity. The concept of intellectual property. The place and role of intellectual property in the economic and social development of the state. Intellectual property system. Objects of intellectual property law. Classification of objects of intellectual property rights. Objects of industrial property. Protection of intellectual property rights. Economics of intellectual property. Protection of intellectual property rights. The system of protection of intellectual property rights and its purpose.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: control work according to an individual task. final control: differentiated credit.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Distribution of points on a 100-point scale. Current control: Auditory work - 70 points: Calculation of the assessment of the economic value of intellectual property - 20 points. Final test - 50 points. Independent work - 30 points: Independent control work - 10 points. Taking tests at the State Security Service - 20 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
