Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline is to study the basic concepts and provisions of mathematical modeling of systems and processes, modern methods of developing an algorithmic base and mathematical modeling and designing elements and structures of electronic equipment, mastering specialized software packages for mathematical modeling for the purpose of analysis, synthesis and optimization of processes and systems.
Завдання: Professional competences of a professional direction: FCS 1.2 Ability to solve problems of optimization and updating of electronic means of automation, collection, processing, transmission, storage and display of information. FCS 1.3 Ability to calculate and design structures and devices of electronic equipment. FCS 2.2 To be able to process biomedical information, create and operate medical databases, expert, monitor systems. FCS 2.4 Ability to use methods of testing medical devices and systems, calculations of the main nodes of electronic and microprocessor systems for medical purposes.
Learning outcomes: GLO 1.1 Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve problems in the development of electronic equipment, using known methods. GLO 1.2 To use general and special control, measuring and testing equipment, to calculate the results of the experiment. GLO 1.3 Apply knowledge of technical characteristics, physical and technological features of creation and improvement of electronic devices. GLO 1.4 Perform calculations of predicted parameters and characteristics of electronic equipment according to the given algorithms.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Modeling of electronic equipment. Co-requisites: Automated design systems.
Summary of the subject: The program of the educational discipline "Mathematical models and algorithms for the design of elements and structures of electronic engineering" is designed for students of the Institute of Telecommunications, Radio Electronics and Electronic Engineering who are studying Electronics. The course has a practical direction, providing students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the formalization of a specific problem, in the mathematical description of the necessary information, in the sequence of mathematical modeling and analysis, synthesis, calculation and optimization of technical systems with the help of modern information technologies. The program of the course "Mathematical models and algorithms for the design of elements and structures of electronic equipment" examines the relationship between mathematical modeling and modern information technologies. Acquaints students with the practical capabilities of modern applied modeling packages and SAE systems.
Опис: Information environment of technical systems. The role and place of mathematical modeling in electronics and information technologies. Methods of modeling technical systems. Using the results of mathematical modeling. Models of technical systems. Analysis and classification of factors in the modeling of technical systems. Tasks of spectral analysis and synthesis. Ways of organizing the process of mathematical modeling. Problems of synthesis of technical systems. Problems of structural optimization. Problems of parametric optimization. Complex (structural-parametric) optimization. Modern packages of mathematical modeling application programs. CAE computer modeling systems. Information systems of functional modeling of technical processes. Effectiveness of using information systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: control work, performance of laboratory work. Final control: credit.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Distribution of points on a 100-point scale. Current control: Laboratory classes - 40 points. Control work - 60 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
