Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. The ability to demonstrate basic knowledge related to the current state of affairs and the environment of international relations (legal, economic, informational), socio-political and socio-cultural processes at the national and international levels. 2. The ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of highly specialized aspects of the historical development of the system of international relations and international order, current processes in the field of international relations, regional policy and public communications, the place of Ukraine in modern integration processes in local, regional and global contexts. The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: general: 1. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity; 2. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, in particular due to the use of information and communication technologies; 3. The ability to identify, pose and solve problems. professional: 1. Knowledge of the nature, dynamics, principles of organization and historical trends in the development of international relations; 2. Ability to understand international relations in various contexts, including political, security, legal, economic, social, cultural and informational; 3. The ability to independently investigate the problems of international relations, prepare and carry out public approval of research results. 4. Knowledge about the nature, sources and institutions of foreign policy of states; 5. Understanding international integration processes, mainly on the European continent, and Ukraine's place in them; 6. Knowledge and understanding of the national interests of Ukraine in the international arena; 7. Understanding the characteristics of the development of countries and regions, features and regularities of global processes and the place of individual states in them; 8. Knowledge of international non-state actors and transnational relations. 9. The ability to use theoretical provisions in practice to analyze specific areas of international relations and trends in their development; 10. The ability to describe objects and analyze processes and specific situations in the field of international relations and foreign policy through the prism of historical and civilizational approaches. 11. Understanding globalization as a trend in the development of international relations, the ability to analyze specific facts, phenomena, processes and trends in the field of international interactions, world and foreign policies; 12. Knowledge of the historical stages of the development of international relations, understanding of their civilizational and cultural dimensions; 13. The ability to compare the peculiarities of the functioning and interaction of states in the international arena. The learning outcomes of this discipline detail the following program learning outcomes: 1. Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of scientific principles and research methodology in the field of international relations, public communications and regional studies; 2. The ability to demonstrate basic knowledge related to the current state of affairs and the environment of international relations (legal, economic, informational), socio-political and socio-cultural processes at the national and international levels; 3. The ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of highly specialized aspects of the historical development of the system of international relations and international order, current processes in the field of international relations, foreign policy and public communications, the place of Ukraine in modern integration processes in local, regional and global contexts; 4. The ability to justify and explain current processes in the field of international relations and foreign policy at the global and regional levels; 5. To analyze, systematize and determine the priorities of Ukraine's cooperation with other states and international organizations 6. Systematically think and apply creative abilities to form fundamentally new ideas; 7. Combine theory and practice, as well as make decisions and develop an activity strategy to solve the tasks of the specialty (specialization), taking into account universal human values, public and state interests; 8. Apply your knowledge and skills to advise citizens on diplomatic and consular relations, various aspects of Ukraine's cooperation with other states and international organizations. 9. Apply creative abilities when interpreting events at the global, regional and local levels, taking into account the historical prerequisites for the emergence and development of specific situations in the field of international relations, Ukraine's interactions with other countries of the world. 10. The ability to defend the national interests of Ukraine in communications, to be able to combine a humanistic, socially responsible and patriotic position. 11. The ability to argue the choice of mechanisms for solving professional problems, critically evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions made. 12. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge in accordance with the latest stages of the development of the theory of international relations, the formulation of new political concepts and visions of the development of the international system.
