Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: Integral competence (INT): The ability to solve complex tasks and problems in chemical technology and engineering or in the process of learning, which involves conducting research and/or implementing innovations and is characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements. General competences (GС): - GC2. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. - GC3. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. Professional competences (PC): - PC2. The ability to organize and manage chemical and technological processes in the conditions of industrial production and in research laboratories, taking into account social, economic and environmental aspects. - PC6. The ability to use innovative achievements of chemical technologies to improve the technological processes of modification and processing of polymer and composite materials. - PC7. The ability to use professional knowledge and practical skills to control and manage the technological processes of processing polymer and composite materials.
Learning outcomes: - to have the skills of working out technical processes for the manufacture of specific products, calculation of technical parameters, justification of stages and type of equipment; - perfectly master the issues of the impact of technological parameters on the quality of products and the productivity of the production process, promptly respond to abnormal deviations in the technical process and recommend measures to eliminate them; - to develop recommendations on the use of technological waste and the creation of waste-free technological lines. As a result of the study of the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: Learning outcomes: Communication (COM). COM1. Clear and unambiguous presentation of one's own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular, to students. Teaching and learning methods: Lectures, practical classes, laboratory work, independent work Methods of assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes: Current control - performance and protection of laboratory work, testing at the State Emergency Service. Examinatium - written survey, test control.

Summary of the subject: The technological processes of processing polymer and composite materials into products using modern high-performance methods: thermoforming, pressing, casting pressing, forming and processing of reinforced plastics, pressureless and polymerization forming, etc. are considered in detail. The physico-chemical basis of modern technologies for the processing of polymer and composite materials, the processing of plastics into products, is presented, and the directions for the use of polymer composite materials are considered.
Опис: 1. Technological processes of forming products from polymer sheets by the method of thermoforming (by the type of active force, by the design of the mold), the influence of technological parameters and the method of forming on the quality of the products and their operational properties. 2. Technological processes of plastic processing by pressing. Description of the technological process and stage of compression pressing. Calculation of technological parameters of pressing, cyclogram of the forming process, influence of parameters on the productivity of the process on the quality of products. 3. Technology of forming products by casting pressing, characteristic features and scope of use. Technological parameters of the process and their influence on the productivity of the process on the quality of products. 4. Modern technologies and physico-chemical bases of forming products from reinforced plastics (composites. Features of creation and use of nanocomposites. 5. Technology of pressure-free casting and polymerization molding of epoxy and polyamide products. 6. Technological processes of production of polyurethane foams. Production technology of polytetrafluoroethylene products by sintering method.
Assessment methods and criteria: The main methods of knowledge diagnosis are: current (PC) and semester control (SC), which is carried out from educational material, the scope of which is determined by the work program of the discipline for the semester. Current control is carried out during lectures and laboratory classes in order to check the level of assimilation of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills of the student. PC is conducted in the form of: written and oral control and defense of laboratory work. Semester control is conducted in the form of an exam (EC). The exam is a form of SC of the results of the student's studies in the academic discipline for the semester.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70-50 points - (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component's educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49–00 points – (“unsatisfactory”) with the possibility of retaking the semester control is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions and navigate when solving practical problems; ignorance of the main fundamental provisions. 49–00 points – (“unsatisfactory”) with the possibility of retaking the semester control is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions and navigate when solving practical problems; ignorance of the main fundamental provisions. The course project consists of a calculation and explanatory note and a graphic part.
