Завдання: The study of the discipline involves the development of competencies in students: 1. Integral competence: - the ability to solve complex specialized problems and problems of chemical technology and engineering or in the process of learning, which involves research and/or innovation and is characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements. 2. General competencies: - ability to generate new ideas (creativity); - ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources; - ability to work independently and in a team; - ability to self-education and professional development. 3. Professional competencies: - ability to investigate, classify and analyze the quality indicators of chemical products, technological processes and equipment of chemical production; - the ability to use modern special scientific equipment and software in conducting experimental research and research and development in the field of chemical technology and engineering; - ability to plan and perform scientific research in the field of chemical technology and engineering.
Learning outcomes: 1. As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: - knowledge of methods of chemical and physicochemical analysis of raw materials, materials, chemical products and products based on it; - ability to select and apply the acquired knowledge to solve qualitative and quantitative problems in chemical production; - ability to assess the risks associated with the use of chemicals and laboratory tests and control the quality of starting materials and commercial products of chemical technologies; - ability to summarize the data obtained from laboratory tests and measurements, to evaluate in terms of their significance; - the ability to establish a connection between the data obtained and the results of mathematical modeling of chemical and chemical engineering processes; - ability to explain the causes of risks associated with the use of chemicals and laboratory procedures; - ability to investigate the influence of physical and chemical factors on the properties of the object of study; - ability to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances of different origin and nature; - ability to use modern information and communication technologies to search, analyze, calculate and create graphic and text documents, as well as for mathematical analysis and statistical processing in research; - ability to participate in the discussion of the results of various types of work (research, search, etc.); - ability to work independently; - present the results of various types of work (research, search, etc.). 2. As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: - critically comprehend scientific concepts and modern theories of chemical processes and chemical engineering, apply them in conducting research and creating innovations; - search for the necessary information on chemical technology, processes and equipment for the production of chemicals and materials based on them, systematize, analyze and evaluate relevant information; - to evaluate technical and economic characteristics of the results of scientific research, research and development, technologies and equipment of chemical production; - search for the necessary information on chemical technology, processes and equipment for the production of chemicals and materials based on them in scientific and technical literature, patents, databases and other sources, systematize, analyze and evaluate the relevant information; - plan and carry out experimental and theoretical research in the field of chemical technology and engineering, formulate and test hypotheses, argue conclusions, and present research results; - clear and unambiguous communication of their own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, including students; - ability to continue learning with a high degree of autonomy.

Summary of the subject: The discipline considers the principles and provides for the acquisition of skills in the study of the basic laws of the processes of fuel and carbon materials technology.
Опис: Laboratory classes: 1. Study of the main regularities of the processes of regeneration of used oils 2. Study of the main regularities of the processes of modification of petroleum bitumen Control work. The control work consists in conducting a study of one of the processes of chemical technology of fuels and carbon materials. At the end of the control work, the student prepares a report on the results of the research. The student receives the assignment for the test from the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Laboratory classes - checking the correctness of the laboratory study. 2. Control work - checking the correctness of decision-making and the correctness of the task. 3. Credit - a report on the research performed, oral questioning.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The total number of points for the discipline is 100, in particular: 1. Laboratory classes - 20 points 2. Performance of control work - 20 points 3. Report on the implementation of scientific research - 30 points 4. Oral component (report defense) - 30 points
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - ("excellent") is given for a high level of knowledge of the educational material. 87-80 points - ("very good") is given for above average knowledge of the component's educational material. 79-71 points - ("good") is given for a generally correct understanding of the educational material. 70 -61 points - ("mediocre") is assigned for mediocre knowledge of the educational material. 60-50 points - ("satisfactory") is assigned for poor knowledge of the educational material. 49-26 points - ("unsatisfactory" with the possibility of repeating the semester control) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material. 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material.
