Summary of the subject: The course "Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics" consists of sections: "Probability Theory" and "Mathematical Statistics". Section "Probability Theory" consists of topics: "Basic concepts of probability theory", "Basic theorems of probability theory", "Sequence of independent tests", "Discrete random variables", "Continuous random variables", "Function of one random variable", "Multiple random variables". Section "Mathematical Statistics" consists of topics: ''Random samp-ling method", "Statistical estimates", "Elements of the correlation and regression theory", "Statistical hypotheses", "Elements of variance analysis".
Assessment methods and criteria: Diagnosis of students' knowledge is carried out with the help of questioning in practical classes, tests and individual work.
