Know the structure of original and edition.
Know the regulatory framework of general editing.
To be able to use proofreading marks. Able to reproduce the model of editor and model of editing process.
To be able to use methods search of errors and methods correction of errors.
To be able to edit media messages.

History of Ukrainian Literature;
Journalistic ethics;
Basics of desktop publishing layout of newspapers;
History of World Literature;
Argumentation in the media.
Summary of the subject: The essence and methods of editing.
Information and social norms of editing.
Composition and heading norms of editing.
Logical norms of editing.
Linguistic and psycholinguistic norms of editing.
Publishing and printing norms of editing.
Assessment methods and criteria: Practical lessons (45%).
Final control ( 55%).
