1. In the process of photographing, professionally use the main pictorial means of photo illustration (composite, optical, light-tonal, exposure-metric).
2. To be able to use digital and IT technologies, digital equipment in professional activities.
3. To be able to use basic operating systems, software for creating visual information.
4. To draw useful qualitative trends from the experience of foreign audiovisual information.

Assessment methods and criteria: "Fundamentals of visual journalism" is an educational discipline that forms students' knowledge and specifics of the field of journalistic activity. A distinctive feature of which is the informative and journalistic use of the image as the main or auxiliary means of influencing the language audience, the production and preparation of visual materials for use in the publication.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: "Fundamentals of visual journalism" is an educational discipline that forms students' knowledge and specifics of the field of journalistic activity.
