Мета вивчення дисципліни: the formation of a systematic approach to determining the impact of human technogenic activity on the environment, taking into account all the diversity of technical, technological, biological, economic and other connections
Завдання: To acquaint students with typical devices and technological schemes for cleaning industrial emissions into the environment from mechanical and chemical inclusions at chemical, chemical-pharmaceutical, petrochemical, food and other enterprises, as well as the main physico-chemical patterns of the above-mentioned processes; • study the designs of typical equipment; • to teach students how to calculate water treatment engineering facilities. The study of an academic discipline involves the formation of the necessary competencies in students: general competences: • Skills of performing safe activities. • Efforts to preserve the environment; professional competences: • The ability to apply trends in the development of technology and technology to protect people, material assets and the environment from man-made and natural hazards and to make a reasonable choice of means and systems for protecting people and the environment from hazards. • Ability to organize supervision (control) of compliance with the requirements of legislation in the field of civil protection, technogenic, industrial safety and labor protection.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: • Provide ecologically balanced activities, the necessary level of individual safety and mental health in the event of occurrence of typical dangerous events. • Identify hazards and their possible sources, assess the probability of occurrence of dangerous events and their consequences. • To explain the nomenclature, classification and parameters of impressive factors of the sources of man-made and natural emergency situations and the results of their effects. • Explain the requirements for securing and protecting business entities, provisions and requirements for safety, identification, passporting and keeping registers of high-risk and potentially dangerous objects.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous academic disciplines Physics Higher mathematics Associated educational disciplines Life safety (introduction to the profession) Chemistry
Summary of the subject: The course "Industrial Ecology" is an integral part of the training of students, on the basis of which special knowledge of specialists is formed. The variety of processes, equipment and technologies for cleaning industrial emissions comes down to the study of a significant number of typical technologies, methods and methods from which industrial treatment facilities of various types of complexity can be synthesized. In this course, mechanical, physical, physico-chemical, chemical and biological methods of cleaning industrial waste, machines, devices, equipment and technological schemes for their implementation are studied. Examples of calculation and design of equipment for the implementation of the technological process of cleaning are given. This will give future specialists the opportunity to acquire skills in the development of special technological schemes for the protection of people and the environment from industrial pollution.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
