Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Organization of occupational safety in the field of IT industry and telecommunications" combines a system of knowledge and skills in occupational safety and occupational safety for the performance of professional duties. The discipline is designed to form future specialists' knowledge, skills and abilities in assessing the presence of threats of harmful and dangerous factors when servicing equipment and conducting technological processes in the field of communication and IT. The description of the discipline includes aspects of the requirements for buildings, structures, the organization of production processes, the structure of hazards, systems and means of protection at enterprises of the communication and IT industries
Опис: International and state norms on labor safety of users of information technologies and telecommunications. Production factors that can cause occupational diseases in the IT industry and telecommunications, and methods and means to eliminate them. Traumatic production factors in the field of telecommunications. Injuries and occupational diseases in enterprises and workplaces of the industry. Organizational methods of operation of high electrical safety facilities in the industry. Psychological and physiological features of information technology users while ensuring the safety of labor processes. Fundamentals of physiology and psychology of human labor, methods of reducing occupational stress. Methods of increasing the motivation of occupational safety. Modern ergonomic requirements for the workplaces of computer users, optimal operating modes that ensure high efficiency of employees and the absence of work stress. Theoretical bases of risk and methods of calculations of probability of occurrence of emergency situation at use of computerized systems Basics of risk management. Methods for assessing the risks arising in the IT and communications industry. Means of fire safety during operation of equipment and carrying out technological processes in the field of IT industry and telecommunications.

Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The “excellent” grade (88-100 points) corresponds to a comprehensive systematic and deep knowledge of the curriculum; assimilation of information from the lecture course, basic and additional literature; clear mastery of the conceptual apparatus, methods and tools provided by the programme; the ability to use them correctly to solve both typical and atypical problem situations; The “good” grade (71-87 points) corresponds to the knowledge of the main curriculum; assimilation of information from the lecture course; possession of the basic conceptual apparatus, methods and tools provided by the programme; the ability to use them correctly to solve typical situations, making certain mistakes; The “satisfactory” grade (50-70 points) corresponds to lack of knowledge of the main curriculum; mastery of certain concepts, methods and tools, making significant mistakes when using them. The “unsatisfactory” grade (0-49 points) assumes that the student does not understand the essence of the questions and does not know the basic concepts of the course.

The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
