Specific admission requirements: The rules of admission to postgraduate study set requirements for performers who study the features of the educational and scientific program (ESP). Entrants must provide research papers on topics (content) that meet the characteristics of the ESP. These works include: scientific works and patents for inventions (author’s certificate of inventions) / in the absence of scientific works and patents-abstract. Entrance examinations are conducted on the basis of the program of entrance tests of the content which takes into account features of ESP.
Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: Provided that the previous level was obtained in another country, nostrification is required, which is carried out by Lviv Polytechnic.
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: Full implementation of the educational component of the program (exams and tests).
Characteristics of the educational program: The educational and scientific programme is based on results of modern scientific research in the field of international relations, public communications and regional studies. The programme is aimed at current problems and innovations in the development of the specialty with a possibility for further scientific and teaching career
Gained competence: 1. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of modern concepts, understanding of theoretical and practical problems, history of development and current state of scientific knowledge in the field of international relations, public communications and regional studies. 2.Ability to demonstrate knowledge of theoretical and methodological foundations, conceptual and categorical apparatus of international relations, public communications and regional studies. 3.Knowledge and skills of scientific research of topical issues of international relations, development and implementation of new innovative projects in the field of international relations. 4.Knowledge of the basics of management and administration of research projects, knowledge of foreign languages required for the presentation of scientific results and professional scientific dialogue. 5.Knowledge of the essence of the organization of the educational process, modern approaches to plan, organise and conduct educational, scientific and research work using modern information technology.
1.Apply the acquired knowledge and understanding for scientific analysis of global and regional systems, typical of a chosen field of research; 2.Investigate and model phenomena and processes in complex dynamic systems of international relations. 3.Apply a systematic approach, integrating knowledge from other disciplines and paying attention to socio-political aspects in solving theoretical and applied problems of the chosen field of research. 4.Combine theory and practice, as well as make decisions and develop a strategy for solving scientific and applied problems, taking into account universal values, social, state and professional interests. 5.Work effectively both individually and in a team. 6.Independently conduct research and apply research skills in the field of international relations, public communications and regional studies/ 7.Assess the feasibility and possibility of new methods and technologies in the study of international relations and world politics; 8.Conduct scientific discussions in Ukrainian and foreign languages at the appropriate professional level, present the results of scientific research, lead training sessions.
1. Ability to communicate effectively at the professional and public levels in native and foreign languages. 2.Ability to present clearly and effectively the results of the study (including foreign language) discuss the outcomes and transfer the acquired knowledge.
Academic mobility: Based on bilateral agreements between NULP and higher education institutions of Ukraine. Under the EU Erasmus + program on the basis of bilateral agreements between NULP and educational institutions of partner countries.

Other program features: Acquisition of the necessary research skills for a scientific career, teaching special disciplines in the field of international relations and world politics, public communications and regional studies, as well as commercialization of research results and their practical implementation. Aimed at studying modern problems of international relations and world politics, theory and methodology of scientific research, current problems of international security, transborder cooperation, informational and analytical activities in international relations.
