Characteristics of the educational program: OSP is based on the well-known provisions and results of modern scientific research and the training of personnel for organizational, managerial, investment and scientific research activities, teaching and scientific reserves of higher educational institutions, scientific research institutions in the field of biotechnology and bioengineering, to create the scientific and technical potential of the bioindustry and provision of services for environmental protection and health care.
Gained competence: – theoretical fundamentals of modern technologies with the use of biotechnological processes; – methodology of scientific creativity, intellectual work and organization of scientific investigations, selection of information and scientific search, formation of database of bioengineering and nanobiotechnological products and diagnostics, principles of design and organization of project works of biotechnological production, the use of laboratory equipment and instruments; – techniques for solving computational and experimental tasks; – construction and principles of work of modern equipment and design of biotechnological enterprices by the rules of GMP; – economic analysis and introduction of innovation on biotechnological enterprices and companies; – conducting research on optimization of biotechnologies.
– ability for evaluation, interpretation and synthesis of information to ensure the normal technological process; – ability to apply scientific knowledge to the introduction of advanced technologies into production; – ability to present orally scientific material in the form of report in conferences for professional audiences; submit scientific material and arguments in writing form for professional editions; – ability to identify and optimize technological parameters of biotechnologies; – ability to provide professional services in preparing bio-agents for relevant branches of industry, health protection and environmental ecology; – ability to implementation of biotechnological control according to regulation documents; – ability to organization, research and modernization of biotechnological industries.
– ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and others); – the ability to use various methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels.
Academic mobility: Conclusion of bilateral agreements with Ukrainian and foreign universities, institutions of the National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and partnership under the Erasmus+ program.
