Characteristics of the educational program: Generalized object of bachelor of Computer-Integrated Technology of Art and Jewelry Casting is casting alloys, their composition, structure, properties, manufacturing processes that ensure the required quality of casting materials and products from them. Students gain the necessary knowledge of the social economic and professional disciplines at a level sufficient to perform production functions in metallurgy.
Gained competence: - methods and principles of heat generation in the furnace unit calculation of fuel combustion; drawing up the heat balance of the furnace; - requirements for the refractory materials and their properties and peculiarities of their implementation in foundry; - methods and tools of computer modelling, calculation of technological regimes of foundry; - specific features of the design process; - stages and creation psychology of designer; - general information about castings, their types, design principles and manufacturing processes; - basics of mechanical and technological properties of foundry materials; - modern methods of automation and computerisation of equipment of foundry; - ecological factors and principles of sustainable development of metallurgical production.
- skills in the organization of the foundry units; - ability to conduct information provision and compose business documents; - ability to work with modern computer hardware and use a specialized software; - ability to evaluate structure, chemical and phase composition of materials; - ability to determine mechanical, technological, physical and electrochemical properties of materials; - ability to make calculations of the basic parameters of ovens, heat exchange, drying processes, basic mechanisms and devices; - ability to choose different foundry equipment for casting processes with ferrous and non-ferrous metals; - ability to use an existing standards and regulations in practice; - skills for operation and maintenance of technological equipment; - skills of feasibility study of using of casting materials; - skills in oral and written communication using official language and at least one of the common European languages.

Occupational profiles of graduates: Professional activities of bachelors in metallurgy are defined by using of the acquired knowledge and skills in the field of modern foundry, new technologies of materials and products processing, creating new and upgrading existed technological processes, ensuring restoration and repairing of products, implementation of marketing activities, acting as leaders and organizers of production. The scope of bachelors in metallurgy is research and development institutions, enterprises of machine building, instrument-making, automobile, aerospace, medical, jewelry and art industry, educational institutions of different levels of accreditation They are able to perform professional activities in the following positions: foundry engineer, technology engineer, laboratory engineer, inspector of product quality control, inspector engineer, reception engineer and others.

Other program features: The program is implemented in Ukrainian and English. Curriculum is adapted to European programs under the Bologna process based on the implementation of the international project TEMPUS MMATENG. During the study, students have the opportunity to participate in international academic mobility program ERASMUS + KA1 in Belgium, France, and Poland.
