Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: Full implementation of the educational-professional program (passing exams and tests, defense of the thesis, passing the state exam).
Characteristics of the educational program: The educational-professional program is based on well-known positions and results of modern scientific researches in the field of motor transport and focuses on actual specializations within which further professional and scientific career is possible. The educational and professional program has two practical lines: "Mechatronics and automotive systems", "Logistics of operation and service of cars".
Gained competence: Ability to solve complex scientific and applied problems and solve practical problems of enterprises / institutions in the field of road transport, or in the educational processes of universities and research programs of research institutes, which involves the use of theories and methods of research and maintenance of cars.
- to determine ways to reduce cars harmful emissions by means of structural and technological changes at all stages of the car's life cycle; - to implement the acquired knowledge to improve the organization of safe operation of cars; - to be able to study the specific features of road traffic, to develop and implement measures aimed at increasing the motor vehicle traffic safety; - to study the properties of cars on-board and telemetry systems; - to study the influence of operational factors on road transport performance; - to develop measures to increase operational efficiency, fuel economy and improve the environmental performance of vehicles in operation conditions.
- ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish); - ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels.
Academic mobility: Based on bilateral agreements between NULP and universities of Ukraine; higher educational institutions of foreign partner countries.

Occupational profiles of graduates: The field of activity of graduates is the production and technological base of motor transport enterprises and service stations, higher, secondary and vocational schools of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, driving schools, police departments, research laboratories of design institutes and forensic institutes, road maintenance departments, management and public and passenger transport enterprises. Specialists are trained for organizational, economic, scientific and teaching activities in the field of road transport.
