Characteristics of the educational program: It is based on well-known provisions and results of modern research in the field of public and corporate finance, banking, insurance, investment, financial risk management, practice of modern financial instruments and focuses on current specializations in which further professional careers are possible. Students get a necessary knowledge and practical skills in the following areas: monetary system, financial activity of enterprises and organizations, taxation of enterprises, activity of organizations on the financial market, organization of banking, banking operations, banks exchange transactions, currency regulations, tax operations, organization of the tax service monitoring, insurance services, accounting and analysis of insurance organizations, financial management, marketing of financial and credit sector, organization and improvement of bank information systems, financial institutions, tax and custom services.
Gained competence: Know and understand the economic categories, laws, causal and functional relationships that exist between processes and phenomena at different levels of economic systems. Know and understand the theoretical foundations and principles of financial science, features of financial systems. To determine the features of the functioning of modern world and national financial systems and their structure. Know the mechanism of functioning of public finances, including budget and tax systems, business finance, household finance, financial markets, banking and insurance. Have methodological tools for diagnosing the state of financial systems (public finance, including budget and tax systems, business finance, household finance, financial markets, banking system and insurance). Apply appropriate economic and mathematical methods and models to solve financial problems. Understand the principles, methods and tools of state and market regulation of finance, banking and insurance. Apply specialized information systems, modern financial technologies and software products. Form and analyze financial statements and correctly interpret the information obtained. Identify sources and understand the methodology for determining and methods of obtaining economic data, collect and analyze the necessary financial information, calculate indicators that characterize the state of financial systems. To have methodological tools for the implementation of control functions in the field of finance, banking and insurance.
Use professional arguments to convey information, ideas, problems and ways to solve them to professionals and non-specialists in the financial field. Have general scientific and special methods of studying financial processes. Be able to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify key characteristics of financial systems, as well as the behavior of their subjects. Communicate orally and in writing in a foreign language in professional activities. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and interpret the results meaningfully. Identify achievements and identify the values of society based on understanding the place of the subject area in the general system of knowledge, use different types and forms of physical activity to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Investigate economic phenomena and processes in the financial sector and assess their impact on the financial potential of corporations, choosing the best economic and mathematical methods and models and information systems and technologies. Apply methods of financial controlling to analyze the financial resources and cash flows of corporations in the process of diversification, assess the level of tax burden and efficiency of their activities. Design and develop financial relations with counterparties on the basis of compliance with the principles of corporate social responsibility, using the existing financial infrastructure. Analyze the revenues and expenditures of the state and united territorial communities and the state of finances of economic entities in the field of public finance. Carry out procedures of macroeconomic financial forecasting and planning, formation of state social programs, financial control in the conditions of decentralization of public finances and taking into account the directions of monetary policy of the state. Analyze the conditions and rules of sale of financial products and provision of financial services, taking into account the procedures of electronic public procurement, to carry out activities for concluding contracts, using the methods of banking and insurance marketing. Diagnose the state of operational and investment activities of financial corporations and assess the prospects and risks of cooperation with them, carry out financial monitoring procedures.

Occupational profiles of graduates: Graduates can work in enterprises of various forms of ownership, in financial institutions, in public financial management and control, tax administration in positions with professional functions in one or more of the economic activities: financial intermediation, insurance; activities in the field of accounting, business and management; activities in the field of state and municipal administration; supervision in the field of budgeting and taxation, management at the level of districts, cities, inner city districts, territorial communities, as well as starting your own business. Positions of the “specialists” level are established by the National Classification of Ukraine: Classifier of Professions, in particular: 1461 managers (finance, insurance, leasing, lending); 1468 manager (property, liability, personal insurance); 2441.2 analyst (banking, investment); 244.2 analyst (on financial and economic security, lending); 1231 Leading Economist, Financier, Accountant, Financial Analyst, Tender and Public Procurement Specialist.

Other program features: The educational program contains three practical lines for selection by applicants with specialized in-depth training: Line 1. "Corporate Finance" offers in-depth training of specialists who know the principles and can apply methods of analyzing and optimizing the formation, distribution and use of financial resources of nonfinancial corporations, in particular, analyze and implement financial work on financial strategies of business entities, research cash flows of corporations, investment activities, assess the level of tax burden taking into account environmental factors. Line 2. "Public Finance" offers training that can in-depth study of the formation, distribution and use of financial resources at the macro level, the formation and implementation of public financial strategy and tactics, including analyzing revenues and expenditures of the state and public entities, state financial forecasting and planning, financial control in the context of decentralization of public finances. Line 3. "Finance and Credit" offers in-depth training of specialists who know and are able to apply modern methods of studying financial market trends, analyze operating and investment activities of financial corporations and assess prospects and risks of cooperation with them, carry out financial monitoring procedures, use modern tools to minimize financial risks. The programme is implemented in Ukrainian.Some educational components can be taught in a foreign language (English).
