Learning outcomes: PR08. Apply specialized information systems, modern financial technologies and software products. PR10. Identify sources and understand the methodology of determining and methods of obtaining economic data, collect and analyze the necessary financial information, calculate indicators characterizing the state of financial systems. PR12. Use professional argumentation to convey information, ideas, problems and ways to solve them to specialists and non-specialists in the financial sphere of activity. PR24. Investigate economic phenomena and processes in the financial sphere and evaluate their impact on the financial potential of corporations, choosing for this the optimal economic and mathematical methods and models and information systems and technologies. PR26. To design and develop financial relations with counterparties on the basis of compliance with the principles of corporate social responsibility, using the existing financial infrastructure. Teaching and learning methods Lectures, laboratory sessions: method of problem presentation, method of working in small groups, reproductive method; economic and statistical method, cases, workshops. Independent work: reproductive method, research method. Methods of assessing the level of achievement of learning outcomes: Current control: - Testing; - Oral sample survey; - Performing and protecting laboratory work; - Protection of an individual task (project). Credit control (on the basis of current control).
Required prior and related subjects: Previous academic disciplines: Financial market, Banking, Finance of diversified enterprises. Associated and following academic disciplines: Public finance, Investments, Corporations and financial infrastructure.
Summary of the subject: The subject of study of the academic discipline "Digital Finance" is the theoretical and practical principles of the application of information systems and technologies in various areas of finance. Theoretical knowledge and practical skills consist in the study of information systems, their role in the economy, financial and credit information as an object of automated processing; study of electronic systems of transmission of banking information; study of the bank's information systems; study of the automation of interbank settlements; analyzing the electronic money system; studying the theoretical and methodological foundations of the automated information and analytical system of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the Automated System of the State Treasury of Ukraine; studying the features of automation of calculations in the tax and customs system of Ukraine and insurance; research of corporate information systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: - Test survey; - Oral survey in laboratory classes; - Performing laboratory tasks, working in the information environment of a specialized software product; - Protection of laboratory works; - Execution of an individual task (optional) and its protection. Final control: the final control is formed on the basis of the current control.
