Summary of the subject: The content of the discipline allows you to master the basic principles and methods of architectural design of small architectural objects in urban space. The discipline is intended for the basic training of a modern specialist in the field of architecture and design.
In the discipline, the main methods of conducting pre-project analysis are laid out in a logical sequence and the sequence of the organization of the architectural design process is revealed in compliance with its main stages - sketch-idea, sketch, design drawings, layout. At practical classes, students get acquainted with the rules of construction and design of small architectural objects, acquire basic knowledge of the typology of architectural structures of this type.
The main principles of placement of small architectural objects in the urban environment, on private plots, taking into account functional features, natural environmental conditions, and climatic factors, are considered. In practice, students master a variety of ways of organizing architectural space, study the specifics of volume-spatial solution of small objects depending on their functional orientation (street furniture, urban recreation areas, exhibition pavilion, installation, kiosk, transport stop, gazebo, children's playground, sports ground, etc.), carry out appropriate site planning.
Design tasks involve the development of sketch options and the adoption of an optimal compositional solution; modeling and rendering of an architectural structure in different spatial perspectives and defined scales; expressive presentation of the design solution. Projects are executed in various graphic techniques and materials (pencil, ink, watercolor, colored pencil) in A3 format
Опис: Topic "Street furniture". Acquaintance with the specifics of the recreation space, the design of outdoor furniture. Analysis of urban planning conditions, specifics and standards of design of recreation areas in the urban environment.
Excursion. Real-time measurements, photo-fixation of recreation facilities. Analysis and assessment of ergonomic parameters. Preparation of excursion materials.
Completion of the "Street furniture" task. Making sketches of the recreation area. Situation scheme, type of rest, number of people, selection of outdoor furniture. Analysis of architectural analogues.
Execution of the "Working layout" task. Work in small groups: town planning sub-base, street furniture, staffing, entourage. Analysis of the nature of the urban environment.
Execution of drawings of the recreation ground. Situation diagram, general plan, facades of street furniture, axonometry
Layout of the "Field" task: inscriptions, comments, color solution. Review, discussion of works
Theme "Exhibition pavilion". Familiarization with the specifics of the exhibition space, functional and structural features of the object. Issuance of the task.
Discussion of the concept of the exhibition pavilion. Individual consultations, review of analogues
Making a sketch of the exhibition pavilion. Search for architectural form, placement of advertising elements. Individual consultations.
Course project "Exhibition Pavilion". Execution of drawings, consultations: situational scheme, scheme of functional organization, general plan, plan and facades, axonometry. Preparation of project materials, consultations.
Completion of the "Pavilion Layout" task: selection of materials for facades, decor, advertising, staffing.
Exhibition of works, presentation and discussion of projects
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: conducting an oral survey in practical classes, assessing activity in classes, checking individual tasks, evaluating the student's presentation-speech, participation in the discussion.

Summary of the subject: Despite the proliferation of computer-aided design technologies, a modern architect needs to master perfect, effective graphics to present his or her projects, which can help to realize creative ideas and preserve the individual uniqueness of the author's technique.
During the classes, students master various types of project graphics and learn how to apply them to convey the architectural environment of the city, interiors, master plans, plans, facades, surface types and textures.
The course project in the discipline "Architectural Graphics and Composition, Part 2" consists of an album of assignments that students complete during practical classes during the semester on A3 sheets.

Summary of the subject: The design process has a certain sequence of work and requires graphic skills necessary for submitting drawings. During the course of study, the student gets acquainted with the basics and stages of designing the simplest objects and with the general requirements for the design of architectural and construction drawings. Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: During the semester, the student performs a number of graphic works and three projects of small architectural forms. Each work has a certain deadline. Failure to complete the work within the specified time, without a good reason, is the basis for lowering the grade. All drawings are made on A3 format. At the beginning of the semester control, the student compiles all completed work into an album, brings it to the department and receives a credit. The credit score is the sum of points for all completed works.
