Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline "Engineering equipment of buildings and structures" is the formation of future bachelors studying in specialty 191 "Architecture and urban planning", knowledge of theoretical principles and the ability to design engineering equipment of buildings and structures.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: general: ZK 01. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. ZK 02. The ability to identify, pose and solve problems. ZK 03. Ability to adapt and act in a new situation. ZK 05. Ability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups of different levels. ZK 07. Ability to make informed decisions. special (professional): SK 01. Awareness of socio-economic and cultural aspects of architecture and urban planning. SK 02. The ability to apply theories, methods and principles of physical and mathematical, natural sciences, the social component of computer technologies to solve complex specialized problems of architecture and urban planning. SK 04. Ability to comply with the requirements of legislation, building codes, standards and rules, technical regulations, other regulatory documents in the fields of urban planning and architecture when carrying out new construction, reconstruction, restoration and capital repair of buildings and structures. SK 05. Ability to analyze and evaluate natural-climatic, ecological, engineering-technical, socio-demographic and architectural-town planning conditions of architectural planning. SK 09. The ability to develop architectural and artistic, volume-planning, functional and constructive solutions, as well as execute drawings, prepare documentation of architectural and urban planning projects. SK 12. Awareness of the peculiarities of using various types of structural and engineering systems and networks, their calculations in architectural and urban planning. SK13. The ability to develop architectural and urban planning solutions with regard to safety and sanitary-hygienic, engineering-technical and energy-saving, technical and economic requirements and calculations.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PR 2. Summary of the subject: The discipline consists of two sections: "Water supply and drainage of buildings and structures" and "Heat gas supply and ventilation" Water supply and drainage of buildings and structures Content: The course includes information on the following issues: The subject of water supply and drainage. Schemes and systems of water supply. Structures for taking underground and surface water. Water towers. Clean water tanks. Pumps and pumping stations. Facilities for the purification of domestic and drinking water. Schemes and drainage systems of populated cities. Methods and facilities for wastewater treatment. Water supply and drainage of buildings. Heating and gas supply and ventilation Content: The course includes information on the following issues: Microclimate of premises. Thermal mode of buildings. Heating of buildings and structures. Ventilation of buildings and structures. Air conditioning of buildings and structures. Buildings with efficient use of energy.

Assessment methods and criteria: Examination and evaluation of students' knowledge is carried out in the following forms: 1. Assessment of students' work during lectures. 2. Evaluation of the mastery of questions presented for independent study. 3. Evaluation of calculation and graphic work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Evaluation of the student's educational achievements is carried out on a 100-point scale. The method of distributing and awarding points to higher education applicants is regulated by the "Regulations on the organization and implementation of current and semester monitoring of the results of studies of students of the Lviv Polytechnic National University".
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
