Learning outcomes: 1. Deep knowledge of the main categories and terminology framework of strategic management, strategic management theory, strategic management role and strategic importance of the manager in the strategic management functions of strategic management, strategic management principles. 2. Deep knowledge of strategic planning models, methods of analyzing the internal and external environment of the company, approaches to developing strategic alternatives. 3. Deep knowledge of the development strategies of the organization, the basic competitive strategies, strategies for merging companies and strategies of the company’s exit on foreign markets, international strategies. 4. Deep knowledge of species and types of changes in the organization and resistance to change, the essence of assessment strategies and evaluation indicators of efficiency strategies. 5. Ability to develop strategies organizations form the organization's mission, to build a tree of organizational goals. 6. Ability to analyze strategic factors of the environment, to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the company and to identify competitive advantages. 7. Ability to perform the whole analysis of the company by method "Boston Consulting Group" and the method of McKinsey. 8. The ability to make choice and description of the company’s exit on foreign markets, evaluate the effectiveness of strategies for enterprises.

Summary of the subject: Essence, features and stages of development of strategic management; mission and goals of the organization; analyzing internal and external environment of the enterprise; strategic alternatives; the whole analysis of the company; implementation of strategies; strategic monitoring and implementation of the strategy with regard to risk; assessment of socio-economic efficiency strategies organizations.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control (30%): labs (25%), oral express examination (5%); - examination control (70%, exam): writing (50%), oral examination (20%).
