Learning outcomes: The course will enable students: - to understand the essence of basic concepts of invest and venture management; to study classifications of venture enterprises and venture capital funds, to become familiar with organizational forms of venture entrepreneurship; - to consider mechanisms of interaction of venture entrepreneurship subjects within the frameworks of the venture activity cycle; - to analyze peculiarities of planning and organization of internal, external and "independent" ventures at industrial enterprises; - to become familiar with prerequisites of venture business development in Ukraine as well as in the world; - to develop skills for business presentations and writing of business plans for venture investors; - to form the ability to search, evaluate and select potential individual and institutional investors by managers of innovative enterprises; - to master skills in evaluation of cost-effectiveness of venture financing of projects and criteria of making decisions on expediency of projects implementation by venture investors.

Summary of the subject: Invest and venture management. Planning of venture activity: search, selection and attraction of venture investors by managers of innovative enterprises, planning and forecasting of future cost of an enterprise attracting venture capital, investors’ exit strategies. Peculiarities of presentation and business plans development of a project for venture investors. Formation of venture enterprise capital structure. Organizing of venture capital activity: using of different venture financing schemes and forms of venture capital organizations. Motivation, control and regulation of venture capital activity: motivation schemes, trends and key indicators for monitoring stages of venture capital activity. Evaluation of efficiency of venture financing of projects.
Assessment methods and criteria: - Current control (30%): oral questioning, work in the laboratories, laboratory papers; - Final control (70%): semester control (50% written and 20% oral component)

Learning outcomes: During the study of the discipline students should: - Acquire skills at creating venture financing schemes of projects. - Develop abilities at drawing up of effective business proposals and a target writing of business plans for prospective venture investors. - Study sources of search of the venture capital; be able to choose potential venture investors, conclude agreements about venture capital attraction as well as to form optimum structure of the venture capital of enterprises according to existing approaches to venture investment in the world. - Form skills at evaluating venture financing cost-effectiveness of projects and at defining venture capital investment efficiency for all subjects of venture entrepreneurship.

Summary of the subject: Description of business environment of the company that plans to attract venture capital. Description of innovative start-up and its innovations. Defining needs and sources of venture capital. Financial support and implementation of innovative projects by venture start-ups.
Assessment methods and criteria: Final control (100%): 80% - performance of project; 20% - oral questioning, oral component.
