Summary of the subject: Perception of the organization as a management system and systems analysis in the context of innovation and organizational change forms a set of tools for managers to prepare and justify innovative decisions. The organization of innovations involves a formalized assessment of the system of interaction between structural units in the form of an information system, various types of organizational forms and structures). The function of the control subsystem of the innovation organization is system and innovation analysis. Their purpose is to identify reserves and potential for economic efficiency. System management creates a basis for modeling and making optimal innovative management decisions. The main tasks of system management - determining the current state of innovation; research of processes and their properties in the organization, comparison with known models of the organization and systems; detection of deviations and changes in the implementation of innovation activities; identification of the factors that caused the changes; forecasting development trends, etc. Performing these tasks in systems management requires approaches to innovation and systems analysis. System management involves the application of the principle of analysis and synthesis of the components of the analyzed processes, objects in order to study their properties of innovation processes and consider their relationship and interdependence; the principle of allocating the leading link or ranking of factors with the setting of innovative goals and establishing ways to achieve them; the principle of ensuring the comparability of options and conditions of application of the objects of analysis; the principle of efficiency and timeliness of analysis; The principle of quantitative certainty involves the quantitative expression of parameters and optimization of alternative management decisions, the principles of relationships between subsystems and elements of management and the degree of uncertainty and risk in making management decisions.
Assessment methods and criteria: - current control (30%): laboratory, independent and individual work, surveys; - final control (70%): exam and answer.
