Learning outcomes: Know the theory and practice of managing the competitiveness of the enterprise. Know the sources and factors of formation of competitive advantages; applied tools for managing the potential of the enterprise, its competitiveness and cost. Be able to identify all types of competitive advantages that the company possesses, to determine those that should be achieved in the future to improve its competitions. Be able to economically justify and specify the functions of managing the competitiveness of the enterprise. Use methods of marketing strategic analysis and interpret its results in order to improve the marketing activities of the market entity. Carry out diagnostics and strategic and operational marketing management in order to develop and implement marketing strategies, projects and programs.

Summary of the subject: Modern theories of competition. State regulation of competition. Diagnostics of the competitive environment of the enterprise. Determination of the competitiveness potential of the enterprise and its components. Formation of competitive advantages of the enterprise. Methods of ensuring the competitive advantages of the enterprise. Technology to ensure the competitive advantages of the enterprise. Features of product competitiveness management. Management of competitiveness of the enterprise. Social responsibility and competitiveness of the enterprise. Development and implementation of programs to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise. Evaluation of the effectiveness of modern models of enterprise competitiveness management.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (50%): practical training, oral survey, execution and protection of control work. Final control (50%): differentiated standings, testing.
