Мета вивчення дисципліни: The educational discipline "Building constructions" is necessary for the bachelor's level training of students majoring in "Construction and Civil Engineering" (BCI). The purpose of studying the discipline is for students to acquire knowledge and practical skills in the calculation and design of simple building structures from various materials as constituent elements of buildings and structures using modern calculation methods and computer technologies
Завдання: Ability to solve complex specialized problems of construction and civil engineering The ability to design construction structures, buildings, structures and engineering networks (according to specialization) taking into account engineering and technical and resource-saving measures, legal, social, ecological, technical and economic indicators, scientific and ethical aspects, and modern standards of regulatory documentation in the field of architecture and construction, environmental protection and labor safety. Ability to take responsibility for developing and making decisions in the field of architecture and construction in unpredictable work contexts.
Learning outcomes: Apply basic theories, methods and principles of mathematical, natural, social, humanistic and economic sciences, modern models, methods and software tools for supporting decisions made to solve construction and civil engineering problems. Participate in research and development in the field of architecture and construction. To design construction structures, buildings, structures, and engineering networks and technological processes of construction production taking into account engineering and technical and resource-saving measures, legal, ecological, technical and economic indicators, scientific and ethical aspects, and modern requirements of regulatory documentation, time and other restrictions, in in the field of architecture and construction, environmental protection and labor safety. Make and implement rational decisions on the organization and management of construction processes during the erection of construction objects and their operation. Management of complex technical or professional activities or projects.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Building structures" belongs to the disciplines of the professional training cycle and consists of three sections: Chapter 1. Basic provisions regarding the calculation of construction structures and foundations for houses and structures (structural elements of buildings and structures, basic requirements for design; methods of calculating BC and foundations; loads and effects on structures and their combination). Chapter 2. Metal structures (physical and mechanical properties of steels and aluminum alloys; grades and classes of steels; centrally stretched and compressed steel elements; bending steel elements; bolted and welded connections; design of beams and columns from rolled profiles and ceilings of them). Section 3. Reinforced concrete and stone structures (classes and grades of concrete, classes of reinforcement for reinforced concrete structures and their physical and mechanical properties; compressed elements; calculation of the bearing capacity of bent elements of rectangular and T-shaped profiles according to normal and inclined sections; design of monolithic floor elements, columns and foundations, materials for stone structures and their physical and mechanical properties, design of compressed column elements.

Classification and calculation of loads on structures and buildings. Chapter 2. Metal constructions. Topic 2-1. General information about metal structures and materials for them. Topic 2-2. Calculation of elements of metal structures under conditions of various force influences. Elements that are loaded by axial force. Topic 2-3. Calculation of bent elements from rolled profiles according to two groups of limit states. Topic 2-4. Connections in metal structures. Bolted connections: calculation and design. Topic 2-5. Connections in metal structures. Welded joints: calculation and design Topic 2-6. Basics of designing beams and beam ceilings. Chapter 3. Reinforced concrete and stone structures. Topic 3-1. General information about reinforced concrete structures and their elements. The essence of reinforced concrete. Topic 3-2. Materials for reinforced concrete structures: concrete and its physical and mechanical properties. Topic 3-3. Materials for reinforced concrete structures: reinforcement and its physical and mechanical properties. Topic 3-5. Calculation of normal sections of bent reinforced concrete elements of a rectangular profile with single reinforcement. Topic 3-6. Calculation of normal sections of bent reinforced concrete elements of T-shaped profile with single reinforcement. Topic 3-7. Calculation of inclined sections of reinforced concrete bent elements in the area of action of transverse forces. Topic 3-8. Calculation and construction of reinforced concrete elements loaded with axial force. Topic 3-9. Flat beam reinforced concrete floors. Topic 3-10. Stone structures.
Assessment methods and criteria: Lectures and practical classes: information-receptive method; reproductive method; heuristic method; problem statement method. Independent work: reproductive method.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Control of the results of knowledge acquired by students is carried out during the study process and at the final exam through current and semester control. Current control includes: • surveys at practical classes and homework; • current controls: performance of control works in classes. The total score for PC is 20 points. Examination control in the case of online education consists of tests (30 points) and ESSE-type tickets (50 points) of the written part of the final exam. In the case of offline learning, the exam ticket is 80 points (4 levels of questions and a task) The final (semester) grade for the discipline consists of the sum of points for the current (PC) and examination control (EC).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.

Опис: To choose rational schemes and make sketch plans of steel and monolithic ribbed floor and cross-section of the house with external load-bearing brick walls and internal steel and monolithic reinforced concrete frame; to execute calculations of the metal floor beam, the girder, and the column of the first floor from the rolled profiles and the support unit of the girder on the support table of the column; to execute the calculation of the slab as part of the monolithic ribbed floor, to cross out the plan of the steel floor, the cross-section of the house in a steel frame, construction of a metal girder and a column of the first floor, nodes supporting the girder on the support table of the column, and the column on the monolithic foundation, formwork drawing of a monolithic reinforced concrete floor with schemes of reinforcement (layout of reinforcing grids) of a monolithic reinforced concrete plate, cross-sections, working drawings of reinforcing products - grids, frameworks, cross-section of the house in the reinforced concrete version, specification for the installation of a monolithic reinforced concrete slab as part of a monolithic ribbed floor, main units for a monolithic reinforced concrete slab (on two sheets A2)
