Characteristics of the educational program: Student must satisfy the programme requirements of 120 ECTS credits which include: - academic disciplines - 78 ECTS credits; - research practice - 12 ECTS credits; - practice on the Master’s Thesis topic - 12 ECTS credits; - the Master’s Thesis performance and defence -18 ECTS credits
Gained competence: – of comprehending critically scientific concepts and modern theories of chemical processes and chemical engineering and applying the concepts and theories to research and innovation.
– of searching for the necessary information on chemical technology, processes, and equipment for the chemicals and derived materials, systematizing, analyzing, and evaluating relevant information – of organizing individual and collective activity at the manufacturing, design divisions, and research laboratories, defining the goals and effective ways of their achievement, and motivating and teaching the personnel – of evaluating the technical and economic indicators of scientific research, developments, technologies, and chemical manufacturing equipment results – of communicating fluently, verbally, and in writing in the state and foreign languages to discuss and present professional activities, research, and project results – of developing and implementing chemical technology and related interdisciplinary projects, considering social, economic, environmental, and legal aspects – of searching in the scientific and technical literature, patents, databases, and other sources for the necessary information on chemical technology, processes, and chemical equipment of chemicals and derived materials, systematizing, analyzing, and evaluating the relevant information – of planning and performing experimental and theoretical research of chemical technology and engineering, formulating and testing hypotheses, arguing conclusions, and presenting research results – of developing and teaching chemical technology and special engineering disciplines in higher education.
