Summary of the subject: The theoretical basis of glassy state. The structure of glass. Physical and chemical bases of glass melting. The theoretical basis of glass melting. Features of glass melting. Chemical properties of glass. Physico-chemical properties of glass. The physical properties of glass. The technology of continuous methods of glass items forming. Technology of cyclical methods of glass items forming. Mechanical processing of glass. Fundamentals of glass ceramics technology.
Assessment methods and criteria: written reports of laboratory work, oral and computers examination (30%) final control (70% exam), written-oral form (70%)
