Specific arrangements for recognition of prior learning: Given that previous level was obtained in another country, it requires nostrification, which is done by Lviv Polytechnic. There are no recognition rules for non-formal and formal education.
Characteristics of the educational program: The program includes theoretical study (220,5 ECTS credits) in the form of auditorium classes (lectures, seminars and practical studies) and independent work of students. The amount of studying hours contains 43,77% of auditorium classes and 56,23% of self-study. Studying time of students by the disciplines cycles includes humanitarian and social-economic disciplines (18,0 ECTS credits), natural (fundamental) sciences (82,0 ECTS credits), professional and practical training (74,0 ECTS credits) and disciplines to choose (66,0 ECTS credits). A student receives credits in case of successfully passed tests or exams in written or oral form (evaluation criteria given in p.4.4) and successful defense of course project and reports of practice. Total number of ECTS credits is 240,0 taking into account semester control, pre-graduation practice (4,5 ECTS credits), preparing and defense Bachelor’s thesis (9 ECTS credits).
Gained competence: 1. Mathematical models development of computerized objects and processes by using knowledge of system and the research results of real natural or social and economic systems. 2. General principles of processes of identification of mathematical models parameters, skills at analyzing models adequacy of real object or process. 3. General principles of computer systems functioning and its architecture, operating system principles, basic and specific technologies of computer-aided systems software development. 4. Has a contemporary understanding of the programming fundamentals, languages of various levels and their advantages for solving specific tasks, methods of software development of computer-aided systems using modern technologies, as well as about operating systems (Windows, Unix, etc.), applied system software.

Ability to build mathematical and information models of a subject of research, i.e. can describe basic parameters and variables, select input and output parameters and establish cause-and-effect relationships among them. 2. Ability to develop application software for mathematical models research with the help of programming technologies based on structural, object-oriented, componental, aspect-oriented, service-oriented, distributed, logical and other paradigms. 3. Can use algorithms and methods of data protection in projects of computer-aided systems. 4. Professional skills in modern object-oriented programming languages. 5. Ability to develop applied software for local computer networks, Internet servers, Internet data portals.
1. Ability to use and apply specific knowledge of mathematics and programming to build mathematical models of objects and processes by using procedures of the basic system concept. 2. Ability to apply knowledge for carrying out analytical research on mathematical models of objects and processes, building optimal numerical algorithms for the research. 3. Ability to develop and maintain the system and applied software for simulation experiment by using computer-aided systems.
