Learning outcomes: • Know the types of payments steam turbine thermal power plants; • Know degree thermal processes in steam turbines; • Be able to calculate the degree of steam turbines; • Be able to count protichnu of steam turbines; • Be able to calculate the thermal efficiency of the steam turbine.

Summary of the subject: Basic geometric characteristics of the flow part of the turbine. The degree of reactivity degree. The utilization rate of output. Construction of a thermal process in I-S diagram. Determination of the main dimensions of the flow part of the turbine. Determination of returning warmth. Determining the diameter of the first and last stages of unregulated turbine compartment. Determining the number of degrees turbines. Thermal design of the intermediate stages of the turbine. The calculation of basic loss and efficiency of intermediate steps. Calculation of the flow part. The graphics of the course project consists of 2 sheets of A1 and A2.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Final control (100% differential test): oral form (100%).
