Learning outcomes: • Tо know the current state and trends in the development of electrochemical energy. Fuel elements: hydride materials, catalytically active electrodes. Lithium accumulators: nanomaterials in electrodes, solid-state electrodes. Nanomaterials in traditional current sources and accumulators. Technological aspects of electrochemical energy. Recycling of spent chemical current sources and accumulators; • To be able to orient in tendencies and problems of development of modern systems of electrochemical energy and electrochemical production; directions of improvement of electrodes, use of nanomaterials in them; technological features of production of primary and secondary sources of current and modern environmental requirements. • Have an idea of the directions of development of electrochemical energy and nanomaterials.
Required prior and related subjects: • Theoretical electrochemistry. • Technical electrochemistry. • Corrosion of metal.
Summary of the subject: Trends development of modern technical electrochemistry is in directions of the electrochemical system of industrial and autonomous energy, electrochemical technology and system in the guard of environment, nanotechnologies of industrial electrochemistry.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Execution, registration and defense of laboratory work – 30 points. 2. Writing of report – 70 points.
