Learning outcomes: • know the features of physical and chemical processes on the deformed metals; • understand the mechanisms of corrosion-mechanical destruction of metals; • to own the methods of defense of metals from corrosive-mechanical destruction; • master basic methodologies of corrosive-mechanical researches.

Summary of the subject: Classification of types of corrosion of metals is under tension. Influence of different factors is on mechanical properties of metals. Adsorption decline of durability. Influence of hydrogen on mechanical properties of metals. Influence of mechanical tensions on corrosion and electrochemical properties of metals. Corrosive of spalling. Corrosive tiredness of metals. Mechanics of corrosion destruction. The methods of the increase of resistance metals to corrosive-mechanical destruction.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Writing reports from laboratory works, verbal questioning, and control work (30%) • Final control (70%, control measure, examination): writing-verbal form (70%)
