Learning outcomes: • to know theoretical principles of electrochemical methods of research of electrode processes; • to be able to apply the basic electrochemical approaches to setting mechanism and limiting step of electrode processes; • to have skills of the use of electrochemical methods of researches for establishment of nature of electrode processes.

Summary of the subject: Classification of electrode processes. Basic of the kinetic characteristics of the electrochemical stage of electrode processes. The stationary voltampere of dependences and determinations of basic kinetic characteristics of electrode processes. A theory of linear and cyclic voltamperometry is for Faraday processes. The relaxation methods of electrochemical researches. The rotating of disk electrode. Resistance of polarization. Thermokinetic methods of the determination of energy of activation of electrode processes.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Writing reports from laboratory works, verbal questioning, and control work (30%) • Final control (70% control measure, examination): writing-verbal form (70%)
