Learning outcomes: 1. To master the principles of functioning of SPARC-architecture of databases and its levels 2. Learn the main differences between different database models 3. Master the principles of construction and operation of relational databases 4. Be able to use the SQL programming language to perform basic operations on databases 5. Use the MS Access database management system to develop, populate and edit relational databases 6. Use the MS Access database management system to perform queries to relational databases 7. Use the MS Access database management system to create forms and reports for relational databases 8. Apply the MS Access database management system to develop relational database applications and their interfaces
