Learning outcomes: • the ability to search, analyze and critically evaluate information on the latest advances in real-time programming; • knowledge of development trends and the most important new developments in the field of programming real-time systems for electrical engineering problems, as well as in related fields; • ability to apply information and communication technologies and programming skills to solve problems related to real-time systems; • ability to apply professional knowledge and practical skills when designing real-time systems in electrical engineering problems; • basic knowledge of basic regulations and reference materials, current standards and specifications, instructions and other administrative documents to ensure the functioning of real-time systems in electrical engineering.
Required prior and related subjects: • Methods of synthesis and analysis of automated control systems; • Programming of real-time systems in problems of electrical engineering; • Object-oriented programming.
Summary of the subject: Explanatory note: Analysis of source data and technical documentation. The choice of technical means for the implementation of a given real-time system. Development of the structural scheme. Development of a real-time system operation algorithm. Program code for real-time system algorithm implementation. Graphic part: block diagram of the real-time system, block diagram of the algorithm of the real-time system.
Assessment methods and criteria: • explanatory note and graphical part of a course project, oral examination (30%) • final control - credit: the defense of the course project orally (70%)
