Learning outcomes: • ability to demonstrate knowledge of the current state of affairs, development trends, the most important developments and the latest technologies in the automotive industry; • ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of physical processes in the analysis of electronic systems of vehicles; • knowledge and understanding of the theory of digital control of such systems and their diagnostics on the basis of technical diagnostic methods and using the Bayesian formula. Skills • model phenomena and processes in vehicle systems, create adequate models suitable for analysis of their work; • apply theoretical aspects of technical diagnostic methods to predict the operation of electronic vehicle systems; • use modern diagnostic equipment to analyze the operation and detection of problems in electronic systems of vehicles. Analysis and synthesis • apply applied mathematical packages for analysis and synthesis of electronic vehicle systems. Evaluation • apply a systematic approach when diagnosing electronic vehicle systems, as for the analysis of the effectiveness of their work and the functioning of all vehicle systems in general • critically analyze the performance of the electronic system of the vehicle, evaluate the technical solutions and equipment used.

Summary of the subject: The purpose of teaching the discipline is to study modern electronic systems of vehicles and acquire skills for their diagnosis and operation.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control in laboratory classes, which is carried out in the form of protection of reports on laboratory work (40 points). Final control of knowledge is carried out in the form of an exam (60 points).
