Learning outcomes: Knowledge: 1. Knowledge of the main trends in the development of vocational education. 2. Knowledge of the laws of professional pedagogy. 3. Knowledge of forms, methods and means of vocational training. 4. Knowledge of innovative learning technologies in vocational education. 5. Knowledge of the organization of the educational process in vocational education. 6. Knowledge of the features of management of professional educational institutions. 7. Knowledge of the problems of training and retraining of scientific and pedagogical workers in the conditions of scientific and technical progress. 8. Knowledge of systems of training and advanced training of pedagogical (scientific and pedagogical) workers in vocational education. Skills: 1. Possession of the ability to analyze the profession. 2. Possession of skills to carry out didactic design of forms of organization of education in vocational education and organization of control of students' academic achievements. 3. Possession of skills to methodically competently prepare for classes, it is expedient to choose forms and methods of professional training. 4. Possession of skills of practice of transfer of professional knowledge, methods and means of professional training. 5. Possession of skills to organize various forms of educational and methodical work with pedagogical staff at different levels. 6. Possession of the ability to master the methods of creating a psychological and pedagogical climate. 7. Possession of the ability to solve psychological and pedagogical problems, to gain experience in the teaching staff. 8. Possession of skills to critically evaluate the obtained results of activity and to defend the accepted decisions with arguments.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Professional pedagogy" involves the study of the general foundations of professional pedagogy, problems of didactics, pedagogical management, communicative processes in the pedagogical theory of professional education. It is also planned to study the principles of organization of the educational process, forms and methods, scientific and methodological approaches in providing quality educational training, modern innovative methods of theoretical and industrial classes, training in accordance with modern educational standards and current legislation in education.
Assessment methods and criteria: Lectures and practical classes: information-receptive method; reproductive method; heuristic method; method of problem statement. Independent work: reproductive method; research method. Current and credit control: selective oral examination before classes; frontal standardized survey on cards, tests for 5-10 minutes; frontal check of completed homework; assessment of student activity in the process of classes, suggestions, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, additions to previous answers, etc.
