Summary of the subject: The course describes the general principles of designing the first hierarchical level of electronic devices and their design features, taking into account the requirements of the technical task, operating conditions, using computer-aided design tools.

Single-sided, double-sided, multilayer. Their characteristics, classification, design, manufacturing methods. HDI structures - the design of modern BDPs. Topic 7. Special designs of the DP. Design calculations in the process of designing a DS. Flexible printed circuit boards and loops. Metal-based DSUs. 3D MID technologies for the production of bulk printed circuit boards. Geometric parameters of printed assembly, calculation. Topic 8: ESCD - basic provisions. Stages of the design process. Purpose of the UPCS. General terms. The main set of design documents. Textual design documents: specification, information, explanatory notes, technical specifications. Topic 9. Electronic components with surface mounted components. General characteristics of DS with SMD components. Element base for surface mounting, requirements for materials. Design of surface mounted printed components and basic methods of their manufacture. Topic 10. Typical designs of modern electronic devices. Layout diagrams of electronic cells (ECs) on the DUT. Typical layout diagrams of ECs in frame design. Cells of detachable and "book" design, their features. Topic 11. Ensuring the thermal regime of the electronic equipment. Design methods for protecting electronic devices and individual components from overheating. Simplified calculation of the thermal regime of the RFS. Topic 12: Protection of RFS from electromagnetic fields and moisture. Methods of protection of radio electronic devices and individual components from electromagnetic fields: schematic and structural. Calculation of screens. The influence of moisture on the efficiency and quality of electronic equipment structures. Interaction of moisture with structural materials and methods of moisture protection.
Assessment methods and criteria: Oral and written interviews during the performance and defence of laboratory work, testing in the VNS.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - ("excellent") is assigned for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyse the phenomena studied in their interconnection and development, clearly, concisely, logically, consistently answer the questions posed, the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 87-71 marks - ("good") is given for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 70 - 50 points - ("satisfactory") is assigned for poor knowledge of the educational material of the component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for poor application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 25-00
