Summary of the subject: In the process of teaching the discipline, the principles of construction and operation of power sources for devices and systems are considered. Their schematic implementation, calculation methods and experimental research are studied. Particular attention is paid to the study of the characteristics of direct and alternating current electrical energy transmission from the source of electrical energy to the load and methods of optimizing energy indicators. Methods of ensuring guaranteed and uninterrupted power supply of telecommunication and radio engineering systems, taking into account the electromagnetic compatibility of radio-electronic means, are also considered.
Опис: Power sources and their classification. Uncontrolled and controlled rectifiers. Smoothing filters. Voltage and current stabilizers. Inverters and voltage converters. Principles of organization of power supply of telecommunication and radio technical systems. Grounding and electromagnetic compatibility. Uninterruptible power supply systems. Systems of guaranteed electricity supply.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current monitoring of laboratory classes is carried out in order to identify the student's readiness for classes in the following forms: a selective oral survey before the start of classes; evaluation of the student's activity in the course of classes, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, additions to previous answers, etc. Control questions are divided into: a) test tasks - choose the correct answers; b) problematic – creation of problematic situations; c) questions-replies - to identify cause-and-effect relationships; d) situational tasks - to determine the answer according to a certain situation; e) issues of a reproductive nature - determination of practical significance. The final control is carried out based on the results of the current control and performance of the control work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control - 30; Credit control: Control work - 50; The oral component is 20.
