Мета вивчення дисципліни: The primary objective of the course is to explore models of professional support that facilitate better case management and assist in learning. An interactive (collaborative) model of professional support is most desirable when the problem-solving process is the result of joint discussion and exploration of various possible options. Attention is paid to the need for professional support when working with volunteers.
Завдання: Ability to develop and manage projects. Ability to evaluate and ensure the quality of work performed. Ability to generate new ideas (creativity). Interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team.
Learning outcomes: Solve complex tasks and problems that require updating and integrating knowledge in the face of incomplete/insufficient information and contradictory conditions. Apply foreign sources in the performance of research and applied activities, express themselves in a foreign language, both orally and in writing. Make decisions independently in complex and unpredictable situations. Perform reflective practices in the context of the values of social work, responsibility, including the prevention of professional burnout. Develop criteria and indicators of professional performance, apply them in evaluating the work performed, offer recommendations for ensuring the quality of social services and management decisions. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards their profession and comply with the ethical principles and standards of social work in their behaviour. Develop, test and implement social projects and technologies.

Summary of the subject: Focus on the theory, social policy, and social work practice implications of different social problems area. Role and goals of supervision. Models and functions of supervision. Supervision as staff development method. Administrative and supportive component of supervision.

Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The semester assessment of students' knowledge is based on the total number of points received based on the results of the current control - 40 points and the performance of the control measure - 60 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - ("excellent") is assigned for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literature sources, the ability to analyse the phenomena studied in their interconnection and development, clearly, concisely, logically, consistently answer the questions posed, the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 87-71 marks - ("good") is given for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 70 - 50 points - ("satisfactory") is assigned for poor knowledge of the educational material of the component, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for poor application of theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is assigned for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions in solving practical problems; 25-00
