Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of this course is for students to master the theoretical and methodological principles of social work with families, in particular, modern technologies used in work with this category of clients, to get acquainted with the basic theoretical concepts and approaches to the development of social work technologies, with innovative foreign technologies, in particular the application motivational dialogue, introduction of a family assistant in social work. This course provides the formulation of knowledge and primary practical skills for effective social work in Ukraine
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation of the necessary competencies in students: - professionals The ability to determine the main areas of social work with different categories of clients. FCS 2.4. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. FCS 2.5. The ability to carry out professional intervention in accordance with the principles of humanity and cultural relevance on the basis of anti-discriminatory social work practice. FCS 2.9. The ability to adhere to the moral and ethical principles of the profession and deontological culture.
Learning outcomes: 1. Classify social technologies, such as a set of methods, models, methods of social change in order to meet the diverse, socially significant needs of different categories of clients. 2. Use appropriate methods, models of social work as an external expression of the content of social technology, which defines its external outlines, structural elements in professional activity 7. Evaluate the process and result of professional activity and the quality of providing social services to different categories of clients. 8. Cooperate in the domestic and international professional environment in compliance with the principles of tolerance, cultural compatibility and legal compliance. 9. Use applied computer programs in the course of solving professional tasks. 10. Form a positive image of the profession, its status in society. 11. Use relevant scientific research and apply research professional skills. 12. Express yourself competently in oral and written form, use the language of professional communication, explain and characterize facts and phenomena in the national language

Summary of the subject: The program is designed for 30 lecture and 30 practical (seminar) hours. Seminar classes should consolidate the students' theoretical knowledge, teach them to independently analyze and compare the existing tools of social work, independently compile an algorithm for the activity of a social worker, taking into account a specific problem situation. The subject of the course is technologies of social work. The main methodological principles of studying the course are: scientificity, systematicity, comprehensiveness, accessibility, practicality, logic, clarity. The logic of studying the course is based on the logic of deploying different tactics of qualitative research. The academic discipline is studied during one semester. In order to qualitatively perform the main tasks of the educational process, the problem-based technology of studying the course is used. Seminar classes are conducted with mandatory elements of current control, with elements of simulation situations, analysis of specific situations, solving practical tasks. Methodological support for students' independent work is based on educational and scientific-methodical literature, which is available in the library and methodical office
Опис: The theoretical basis of technology in social work. Classification of social technologies. Typical social work technology as algorithm of activity. Applied technologies: social welfare system as the technology of social work; technologies of identification of families that find themselves in difficult circumstances, technologies of social work with social risk families, antisocial families, families with signs of violence against family members, with foster families. Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Semester assessment (SO) of students' knowledge is carried out based on the total number of points received based on the results of the current control (PC) - 40% and the performance of the control measure (KZ) - 60%
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
