Learning outcomes: "Fundamentals of Sculpture" is the development of students' sense of plasticity and form, three-dimensional thinking, the development of artistic and aesthetic taste. To form in students a sense of correct proportions, a sense of materials. Developing the ability to divide the scope of work into key stages, professionally conduct photo fixation and measurement of details, search for analogues and determine their affiliation to certain stylistic features and time limits, the ability to reproduce lost elements based on preserved parts or photographs. The course "Fundamentals of Sculpture" is designed to form a restorer as a specialist who will be able to organically apply in practice a high level of knowledge and creative skills in modeling and restoration of sculptural elements

Summary of the subject: "Fundamentals of Sculpture" is based on the study of techniques and technologies of modeling architectural decorative details, solving problems related to modeling, selection of tools and techniques of reproduction, copying and supplementing architectural details, development of modeling algorithms, etc. Study of architectural decor with plant motifs. The study of the discipline is the method of sequential teaching of material in the form of thematic blocks, which are revealed during the practical work on the task
